Company Background

Tioga was originally formed in 1984 as Tioga Construction Company, Inc. In 1990, Tioga divided the Building division from its Bridge and Heavy Highway area of business, thus forming Tioga Building Company.

Tioga Buildings has erected and completed numerous pre-engineered metal building projects as an authorized dealer for American Buildings Company. Many of these projects were designed/built using in-house engineering. American Buildings Company is the third largest manufacturer of pre-engineered steel buildings and is very competitive within the metal building industry.

As a general contractor, our range of projects is diverse in industrial and commercial buildings. Various types of construction include renovation of existing buildings, schools, churches, auto dealerships, and manufacturing plants.

Tioga has worked extensively throughout Eastern New York State completing several projects as a zone master contractor for Verizon (formerly Bell Atlantic). These projects were completed under strict work regulations and performance standards.
